The Onion River Exchange (ORE) is hosting a Harvest Festival on November 8 at the Moretown Town Hall.

It will be a family-friendly event, including a potluck, contra dance lessons, a contra dance, and a silent auction.

The suggested donation is five dollars for members of ORE and eight dollars for non-members. ORE Membership is open to everyone. All donations support this community-based non-profit.

The Onion River Exchange (ORE) is Central Vermont's Time Bank. It facilitates service exchanges using time credits rather than money.

For example, one person could earn credit by supplying a ride to the airport, and use that credit to get his or her driveway shoveled this winter without using any money.

Other services include professional electrical work, massage, plumbing, sewing, and many more.

ORE has over a hundred and fifty active members in twentysix towns throughout Central Vermont. Most of the membership is focused in Montpelier, Barre, Plainfield, and Middlesex, but ORE rapidly expanding to towns like Randolph, Marshfield and of course Moretown.
