The question was asked: Do you favor or oppose a town-village merger?

39 or 51% of those responding favored the merger while 26 or 34% oppose it. 12 had no opinion.

The survey is not scientific and allowed anyone who accessed the web site at thenorthfieldnews.com to go on line and vote.

A new poll has now been put on line. It asks: Do you support Chief Shaw in his bid to overturn the state ruling taking away his license as a police officer.
