THE PUBLIC is cordially invited to a presentation by Northfield photographer John Knox on Tuesday March 17th at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room. A math professor at Ver monTechnicaCollege had a lifelong interest in photography and specializes in capturing Vermont scenes throughout the four seasons.

John first began selling his photos nearly ten years ago, and has had his photos selected for the cover and four center pages of "Vermont Life" magazine.

His photo entitled "Turkey Hill Sunset" appears in the magazine's current issue. John's photos also appear in the 2009 "Vermont Life" calendar.

"Northfield Lilacs" is on the cover, and three of his other photos depict various months of the year.

On Tuesday night John will talk about his experiences as a photographer, show examples of his work, and take questions from the audience. Refreshments will follow.

A short annual meeting of the Friends of the Brown Public Library will be held following refreshments on Tuesday night. Members of the Friends and any interested community members are invited to stay for that meeting as well.
