      TO THE EDITOR: THE NORTHFIELD NEWS AS YOU MAY be aware, there was a Special Select Board meeting last Monday to discuss the crafting of a letter from the Northfield Select Board to the VCJTC. The main impetus of this letter was to voice the Town of Northfield's displeasure over being left out of the process which ultimately led to Chief Shaw being de-certified.

The Police Station
      TO THE EDITOR: THE NORTHFIELD NEWS AS A TAX PAYER I have several questions stemming from my hard earned dollars being spent in this community. I voted and supported the building of the new police station, and do not look back on this decision. However I am rather confused in the process of taking over this building by the town of Northfield from EF WALL.

      TO THE EDITOR: THE NORTHFIELD NEWS IWANT TO THANK the Northfield officials and all the people of Northfield for recently honoring my Dad, Dick Moot, by dedicating the Town Annual Report to him. My Dad loved immeasurably the people of Northfield. Lest someone get confused, every single day he wore his "I Love Northfield" buttons on both his hat and his jacket!

      TO THE EDITOR: THE NORTHFIELD NEWS ITHANK ALL THE people of Northfield for the support and encouragement I received in my run for the Lister position. The smiles, waves and toots of horns as my wife and I stood in front of the Municipal Building and the well wishes my supporters and I received outside of the polling place on Town Meeting Day were "heart warming".
