TO THE EDITOR: THE NORTHFIELD NEWS ITHANK ALL THE people of Northfield for the support and encouragement I received in my run for the Lister position. The smiles, waves and toots of horns as my wife and I stood in front of the Municipal Building and the well wishes my supporters and I received outside of the polling place on Town Meeting Day were "heart warming". A special thank you for the people who gave me permission to put my signs in their yards and the ones who stood with me at the polls. I will work diligently over the next three years to show you that you made a good choice on Town Meeting Day. I have much to learn in a short time and several people have offered me their support and knowledge; Warren Hagy, Chris Bradley and Phyllis Murphy, just to name a few. I look forward to working with Butch Greenslit and Steve Hatch. Together we will do our best to treat all of the people of Northfield fairly, even if we do not lower your assessment.
