Norwich "Lunch and Learn" Spring Series Announced
      The Sullivan Museum and History Center at Norwich University is hosting a spring Lunch N'Learn program on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at 12 noon. The program, Exploring Emotions: Examining Poetry and the Inuit Culture will feature John Bate.

Northfield Democrats Raise Money For CERV With Booth At Polls
      On Town Meeting Day this year, voter debate about the issues wasn't the only thing brewing. The Northfield Democrats brewed hot coffee and supplied free baked goods, requesting contributions to CERV in return. Altogether volunteers raised $120.49 for CERV, plus another $10.00 for the Vermont Foodbank.

Roxbury's Two Road Employees Vote To Join Union
      Following a unanimous vote last friday the Roxbury road crew will be represented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 300 of South Burlington in all future labor dealings with the Town's selectboard.

      The following persons were elected to Roxbury Town and School offices at the March 3 Town Meeting: Tammy Legacy was re-elected as Town Clerk, School Treasurer and Collector of current taxes. Ann Maxham was elected Treasurer and collector of Delinquent Taxes.

New Chief Takes Reigns of Fish and Wildlife Department
      WATERBURY - David LeCours of Barre, a Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department state game warden since 1982, has been named as Vermont's new Chief Game Warden. Mr. LeCours served as Major and second in command since 2005.
