Wayne W. Sprague, 58, Painter and Paperhanger

Wayne W. Sprague, 58, died peacefully in Northfield with his family at his bedside on April 7, 2009. He was born September 19, 1950 in Danbury, Connecticut, the son of Albert & Elizabeth (Fox) Sprague.

Wayne worked over 30 years as a painter & paper hanger. He worked for his father as well as his own business, Wayne's Painting & Paper Hanging in Northfield. He enjoyed watching Nascar Races, carpentry and working around his home.

Survivors include his parents, Albert & Elizabeth Sprague of Chelsea; 5 children, Wayne Joseph Sprague of Chelsea, April Bushey of St. Albans, Amanda Spaulding of Northfield, Nancy Cooke of Northfield, Christie Atwood of Warren; 1 sister, Kathy Garland of North Carolina; 7 grandchildren; a few nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by 3 siblings, Gordon, Frances and Debbie.

There are no calling hours. Funeral services will be conducted at the convenience of the family. Kingston Funeral Home in Northfield assisted with the arrangements.
