Northfield Through August 28 - Artists Reflect on the Historical Collection of the Sullivan Museum, Sullivan Museum, Norwich University off South Main Street.

Barre August 11 through September 19 - Studio Place Arts, third floor, Nelda S. Haley retrospective of 15 oil paintings spanning from 1952 to 2004, along with preliminary drawings and watercolors. The show will include subjects as seemingly ordinary as "Washing Machine and Vacuum Sweeper" to the superb, "Mozart Opera."

Randolph Through August 30 - New England State Fairs, photographs of Lindsey Vladyka and New Work, New Directions: A collection of photographs by emerging young photographers, Chandler Gallery, Thursday 4 - 6 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 1 - 3 p.m.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 11

Northfield 3 - 6 p.m. - Farmers' Market on the Common. 7 p.m. - Public hearing on the revisions to the Town Plan followed by the regular Trustee's Meeting, Community Room, Brown Public Library.

WEDNESDAY AUGUST 12
