Parents told us that their children enjoyed the five weekly sessions and did more reading at home. Our statistics confirm this: 61 students in grades K-5 were registered; 234 people participated in the sessions; and over 525 books were read! Five teen and five adult volunteers helped the programs run smoothly. Nancy Munno, Youth Services Librarian, did an outstanding job in planning and implementing the sessions around the state-wide theme "Be Creative at Your Library;" and she's already thinking of ideas for next year's program, when the theme will be "Make a Splash at Your Library."
