Local Republicans To Hold Annual Caucus

Republicans in Northfield will caucus next Tuesday, Sept. 22 for its annual reorganization and election of members of the town committee.

Any registered voter of the town is eligible to become a member of the town committee.

The caucus will be followed immediately by the first meeting of the new town committee, the election of officers, and the election of delegates to the county committee. Northfield is eligible to elect up to 18 delegates to the county committee, based upon the 1,475 votes cast for the Republican candidate for Governor in the 2008 general election.

The caucus meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the home of Rep. Anne Donahue, 148 Donahue Drive, on Turkey Hill (first right, one-half mile up from Main Street.) More detailed directions can be obtained by calling 485-6431 or emailing counterp@tds.net.

Light refreshments will be served.

All persons interested in becoming active participants in the future of the state are encouraged to attend. Please get involved!
