The Northfield Girl's fell to the Lady Wolves 1-0. Both the Northfield Boys and Girl's soccer teams were in action this past week. The Boys defeated Oxbow 2-0 in their only game, while the girls suffered pair of defeats. The Lady Marauders fell to Randolph 2-0 last Tuesday and to Peoples by a 1-0 count on Thursday.

At Oxbow Nick Skinas and Eli Diebold each racked up goals in the first half to give the Maroon and White a lead that they would never relinquish. Northfield goaltender, Billy Whaley was called on to make only two saves in recording the shutout while his counterpart at the Oxbow end of the Field, Chris Taylor, recorded nine stops.

With the win, the Marauder Boy's picked up their fifth win of the season.

It was a different story on the Girl's side of the ledger, though. The Maroon and White Ladies made a pair of road trips and the road wasn't kind to the Lady Marauders. At Randolph, last Tuesday, The Galloping Ghosts' Arielle Connolly and Amanda Bowen gave Randolph all the scoring they would need as they shutout Northfield 2-0. Randolph's Shane Reis made six saves to record the shutout while Northfield netminder, Kristi Luce made six saves.
