Locals To Star In SNAFU Production
Director Meg Donahue Davis has announced the cast of SNAFU, a comedy set during World War II.
SNAFU will be performed at 7 p.m. on October 29 and 30 at the Mary Granai Corrigan Auditorium at Northfield High School.
SNAFU takes a light hearted look at the family dynamics that surround youth growing up and going away. The 16-year old hero, who ran away from home to join the war effort, is sent home and must deal with fitting into a family and community that still view him as a youth.
The cast, made up of members of the Northfield Community, includes the boy's family and their housekeeper, played by Nathan Cooper, Denise Commons, Jim Jones and Joan Marie Davidson. Neighbors and friends will be played by Emily Flinn, Barbara Brayton, Danny Rowe, and Kaley Warren. The cast is rounded out with other members of the community, including Joe Bottiggi, Thomas J. Goodrich, Sarah Helman, Taylor Rafferty, and Michael Jennings.
The performance is being sponsored by the Paine Mountain Arts Council and the PMAC Drama Production Committee. If you are interested in being part of this community theatrical production, either as actor or stage crew, please contact Meg Donahue Davis at 485-7395.
