Program on Internment of Japanese Americans - The public is cordially invited to a free lecture by Norwich University professors Tom Taylor and Jack Hayes entitled "How the U.S. Government Treated over 100,000 Japanese-Americans and Why." The lecture will be held in the Northfield Community Room on Thursday Nov. 5th at 7 pm, with refreshments to follow. Although the lecture will focus on racial discrimination during WWII, the topic is certainly relevant today. This program is part of our "Vermont Reads" series and is offered in collaboration with the Roxbury Free Library and the Vermont Humanities Council.
