For those of you who didn't know, Montpelier has a beauty and wellness collective which has been in business for one year.

They are celebrating their first anniversary at an open house from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 24.

Fifty gift bags of organic skin care sample products will be given out.

Also available will be 10- minute Thai Yoga "relaxation sessions" and 10 minute beauty "make-unders."

Formerly known as the Green City Spa, Beauty and Wellness at Four State Street is a collective of professionals offering a broad array of services that promote beauty, health, wellness and tranquility.

Services include therapeutic massage, organic skin care and facial treatments, make-up, brow shaping, and styling consultation.

They seek to promote an ecologically sound oasis of treatment and services said their spokesperson.

"Beauty and Wellness promotes physical well-being and enhanced appearance while observing planet-friendly business practices and utilizing sustainable resources in coalition with the Green Spa Network," said Vivian Infantino, owner and principal of Organic Beauty. "The collective's practitioners share space and philosophy in a suite of well appointed treatment rooms," she added.

Stephanie Johnson, RN, CMT, the owner and principal of Touchstone Massage.

Drawing on her nursing background and degree, Stephanie has received training in California, Montreal, Boston, and Vermont to be able to offer a menu of customized therapeutic massage techniques. These include Thai Yoga Massage, Hot Stone Massage (called LaStone) as well as Deep Tissue Massage and any combination of these techniques to meet a specific client's needs.

Eros Bongiovanni, Esthetician is the owner and facialist of Holistica, an organic skin care studio where Dr.Hauschka organic skin care products are used exclusively.

Eros received her skin care training from the Edith Serei Academie in Montreal, and subsequently earned level one and level two certifications from Dr.Hauschka training facilities in Massachusetts. She is only one of 200 authorized Dr.Hauschka facialists and one of only 52 contracted Dr.Hauschka educators in the US. Services at Holistica range from balancing for dry or oily skin conditions, healing for acne and redness, and rejuvenating for mature skin, all without the use of harmful chemicals.

Vivian Infantino, owner and principal of Organic Beauty offers uniquely personalized and ecologically inclusive beauty wellness services, including brow-shaping, makeup instruction and product/ingredient awareness.

Originally from Milan, Italy, Vivian worked in the fashion/beauty industry as a runway, photographic and collection fittings model and more recently as a fashion consultant.

Since 2004, Vivian has been a freelance makeup artist, trainer and fashion consultant, specializing in on-location makeup, hair and styling services, and primarily utilizing organic, earth-friendly and ecologically inclusive products. In addition to being a member of the Beauty & Wellness Collective, she is the Health & Beauty Chairperson for the Vermont Association of Wedding Professionals (VAWP).
