Roxbury Free Library News
SUCCESSFUL R.I.F. DISTRIBUTION! In our first paperback book give-away for the year, at least 80 books were distributed to the children of Roxbury. We gave them away at the elementary school, at local daycares, and at the library. If any pre-school children have not yet had a chance to choose their book, call or come to the library any Tuesday. Many thanks to Reading is Fundamental for their generous grant to fund this project and to Boo Smith for implementing the grant and the distributions for many years.
ART SHOW IN PROGRESS: Arthur Zorn, prolific Montpelier artist, has graced our gallery walls with an Abstracted Fall Perspectives show. It will be up for about a month. Please come in and feast your eyes on these very colorful works.
