Jack Topham from Brookfield has been a regular volunteer at the Four Seasons Care Home in Northfield for the last five years. Now, Jack is leaving to enjoy his retirement.

He has been coming into the facility at 7:30 a.m. three days a week like clock work always with his "how can I help" attitude. He didn't need to ask, but set about doing things that make the residents smile.

He brightened up their day with his humming, whistling and singing or just sitting and talking with them to heighten their mood.

One 99 year old resident doesn't smile often except when Jack came around.

He held a semi-annual sing along when residents and Jack would belt out some of the great oldies to his personal karaoke machine.
