Pegasus Players To Present 'Killing John & Wally'

The Northfield News

On Thursday, November 5th, Friday, November 6th, and Saturday, November 7th, Norwich University's Pegasus Players will perform "Killing John and Wally," an original play written by NU English professor Jeanne Beckwith and directed by NU English professor Helen Caudill. All performances are at 8 p.m. at Dole Auditorium in Webb Hall on the Norwich campus. The show is free and open to the public.

In the comedy, Laura and her friend Susi consider the meaning and value of life as they pack up Laura's recently deceased mother's belongings to sell to a local "scavenger." Laura is determined to rid herself of bad memories, but between an obnoxious junk dealer, a nosy neighbor, and a well meaning stranger, she finds herself in a very bad situation. Chaos ensues, and the audience will never look at toasters again in quite the same way.

The cast of Norwich students features Tatiana Lucas as Laura, Alette Pittman as Susi, Ryan Coleman as The Ragman, Cassandra Dumas as Mrs. Baxter, and Deus Cravero as Mr. Perkins.

Under the direction of Professor Caudill, the Pegasus Players are celebrating their 82nd year of performance for Norwich University and the communities of central Vermont.
