Police Are Seeking Home Burgler Who Took $5,000 In Property

WILLIAMSTOWN - The Vermont State Police are investigating a Williamstown home burglary where two drawers of jewelry were taken. The value of the property taken was about $5,000 according to police.

Joanne Jenkins, 50, reported the burglary to police after arriving at her house, according to the state police news release.

The house was forcibly entered through a basement door, and jewelry, watches and a Nikon camera were stolen, police said.

State police took photographs and dusted for fingerprints.
