The Town of Northfield Gets a Christmas Present
On the coldest day of the year yet,
the Merchants Bank removed a
safety deposit vault from the bank
last week and donated the vault to
the town of Northfield for use for
municipal records. At the same
time, the bank replaced their ATM
with a new, improved machine
which is more secure and can be
loaded from the rear instead of
from the front as the old machine
did. The moving was undertaken
by Action Moving & Storage from
Colchester.
