NORTHFIELD - Charlie R. Harper, 45, died Monday, December 14, 2009 at his home on Cemetery Street.

He was born April 8, 1964 in Niskayuna, New York. He is the son of, May Harper. Charlie is a graduate of Burlington High School, class of 1984.

For the last twelve years, he was the owner of Videos and More housed in the former hosiery plant on North Main Street in Northfield.

Before going into business for himself, he had worked several years for Bove’s Koffee Kup and L & L Snacks, all of Burlington.

Charlie was a member of the Northfield Business Association. He was a loyal Reba McIntire fan, liked to gamble, enjoyed automobiles and the entrepreneurial spirit.

Survivors include his long time companion, Ellie Duquette of Northfield; his mother, May Harper of Northfield; two children, Tyler Harper of Burlington, Ashley Harper of Northfield; one brother, Shawn Harper of Burlington; two grandchildren, Isabella & Elise Harper; special family member, Marsha Harper; his loyal friend & dog, Bud; a few aunts, uncles and cousins.
