Don’t Delay! UVM Extension Master Gardener Course Deadline
Learn how to create a healthy and sustainable home landscape in this 13 week course. University of Vermont faculty and other green industry experts teach the skills for sustainable landscaping and gardening in Vermont. This noncredit course includes sessions on: landscape design, plant diseases, garden insects, vegetable and flower gardening, trees, shrubs, lawns, soils and more! A great overview of plant and soil science! Class meets Tuesdays, February 2 - April 27 from 6-9 p.m. and is offered simultaneously via Vermont Interactive Television in Bennington, Brattleboro, Johnson, Lyndon, Montpelier, Middlebury, Newport, Randolph Center, Rutland, Springfield, St. Albans, Waterbury, White River Junction. Following course completion, hands-on internship is available to students who want Certified Vermont Master Gardener status. The deadline to register for this once a year course is January 21, 2010.
