College Roommates Organize Benefit For Nick Simon
Nick Simon, a 2003 graduate of Northfield High
School was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforma
Stage 4 in March of 2005. Over the last
five years he has had three operations, radiation
and chemotherapy. Despite these challenges,
he completed his junior year at UVM last
May. Things have been much tougher since
then and he is living at home with his parents
in Northfield. Because Nick was a passionate
skier, his former college roommates have organized
a ski team to raise money for cancer in
Nick’s name during an event on March 13 at
Bolton Valley called Hope on the Slopes.
