National Legion Commander Visits Northfield
The American Legion's National Commander, Clarence E. Hill (center) discusses the
workings and philosophy of Veterans Place with Mike Brennan (left) the Homeless Veteran
Center's Program case Manager and George Hutchins (right), the president of The
Veteran’s Place Board, last Thursday afternoon on the front porch of Veterans Place on
Vine Street. After touring the facility, National Commander Hill said he was very
impressed with both the physical plant and the philosophy and efforts of the staff.
