Marauder Boys Get Ready For Baseball Season
Northfield Shortstop, Zach Daley, flips the baseball to second baseman Eli Diebold during
a double play drill last Friday afternoon at Memorial park. The baseball team got out
of the gym for the first time last week and started to practice for their April 24th opener
in earnest. Coach Frank Pecora said the main goal for his young and talented team
is to: " get where we got last year (The Div III championship game) and finish what we
started last year. But to do that by winning more regular season games and go into the
tournament higher than the eighth seed so we can play any tournament games at home."
