Robert W. Davidson, 64, died Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. He was born in Northfield on March 11, 1946, the son of James & Viola (Bowman) Davidson. He is a graduate of Northfield High School, class of 1964.

He married Sally Kenerson in Northfield on March 11, 1970.

Robert was an area meat cutter for over 45 years.

Robert enjoyed fishing and was often referred to as “the old man on the bridge”, referring to the Floating Bridge, his favorite fishing spot.

Survivors include his wife, Sally, of Northfield; two children, Kris Davidson and Dawn Lauro, both of Las Vegas, Nevada; and two granddaughters.

Robert is one of four children. He is predeceased by his brother, Roger.

In keeping with Robert’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
