Kelsey Langley of Northfield, a student at Northfield High School, will receive an American Legion Scholarship from the American Legion Department of Vermont.

She is among 12 students selected from more than 350 applications to receive scholarships this year.

Department Commander Royal Sheeley said “we are pleased and proud to assist these deserving young people to seek higher education.
