The Northfield Historical Society launched its new website Friday, May 14, using the free Web hosting services of Google.com at http://sites.google.com/site/n orthvthistoricalsociety. (Some search engines may not pick up the Society's new Web site yet, so it's best to type the address directly in your browser.) Through the use of the Internet, members and others are informed of events, hours, exhibit and other information, can read the Society's mission statement and collection policy, can access a membership application, can order select publications which are available for sale by the Society, and can easily contact the Society through email. Links to other relevant sites are also available on the Society's homepage.
