GOOD BEGINNINGS HONORS NEW MOTHERS !


The Board, Volunteers, and Staff of Good Beginnings celebrated its Tenth Annual Mothers’ Luncheon for mothers, infants, and preschoolers visited this year with a Teddy Bear’s Picnic theme. Besides a delicious luncheon, much donated by area restaurants, the mothers enjoyed Celtic music to dance to by John Mowad and Kathleen Moore and later a story telling activity by Duncan McDougall of Children’s Literacy Foundation – with two books given to each child. Gifts from businesses such as certificates, plants, candles, diapers, socks and more were enjoyed by new moms. A great day out !!
