Vermont Tech Graduates Many Local Students

RANDOLPH - Vermont Technical College recognized 465 graduates at its commencement ceremony held at the Shapiro Field house on the Norwich University campus in Northfield.

The college conferred 381 associate degree diplomas and 84 bachelor degree diplomas.

This year’s commencement speaker was James Brakeley, a student in the college’s Automotive Engineering Technology program.

In addition to Saturday’s 465 graduates, Vermont Tech will graduate 168 Practical Nursing students in June, making a total of 663 graduates – a 12 percent increase over last year and 52 percent increase over the past 10 years.

There were four students who graduated from Northfield. They were Kendra A. Loati, Elizabeth Rose Peebles, Gretchen J. Dunn and Noah Z. Tautfest.

There were five who graduated from Williamstown, Gwen E. Lewis, Jessica L. Cotnoir, Bradley M. Pecue, Ethan B. Persons and Erika R. Duplessis.
