Boys & Girls Club Gets New Director
Hope Clark has been chosen as the new Director of the Northfield Teen Center by the Boys and Girls Club of the White River.
With a passion for working with youth and experience serving at-risk populations, Ms. Clark is a welcome addition to the Club.
Prior to joining the BGCWRV team, Clark worked with pregnant and parenting teens at Florence Crittenton Home and Services in Helena, Montana. Though her role involved diverse responsibilities including administrative work with fundraising and financials, her primary focus was to help the girls create healthy bonds and attachments to their children.
When asked his thoughts on the new director, Tony Moulton, the former director of the program says, “Knowing Hope is at the helm and the youth and families I worked with are in sincere good hands gives me a great sense of peace. I am happy to know that the amazing BGC Teen Center team of staff and volunteers, who I had the honor and privilege of working with, has a leader that can empower them to continue their excellent work.”
A graduate of Lyndon State College with an academic background in psychology and business, Clark is excited to return to her native Vermont and work closely with Northfield youth.
