TO THE EDITOR: THE NORTHFIELD NEWS MY GOODNESS, you learn some interesting things when you review the list of contributors to Brian Dubie’s campaign! Laura Moore, of Barre Town, and a Democratic candidate for the Vermont Senate in Washington County has given Dubie $450. Why is a Democratic candidate supporting a far-right-wing Republican candidate like Dubie, who opposes gay marriage (and even opposes Civil Unions!), a man who supports the relicensing of the leaking Yankee nuclear power plant, and was an eager partner with Bush and Cheney in the ruinous Iraq War, which has destroyed the lives of so many Vermonters? Is Moore really a Senate candidate Democrats are expected to support? And is Dubie the candidate Moore really thinks is the best for the future of Vermont?
