In last week’s article about Roxbury voting to join the Mad River Resource Management Board, we stated the following: “The main force behind the petition for a revote was Gerry D’Amico, who has worked as Roxbury’s repesentative to CVSWMD for several years.”

Mr. D’Amico took exception to this statement believing that it was misleading and tended to allow people to think that he is employed by the CVSWMD which he is not.

Mr. D’Amico was appointed by the Selectboard of the town of Roxbury to be its representative to the CVSWMD but he is not employed by it and never has been. He has served in that position since 1995.

If there was a misunderstanding in this regard, we are truly sorry as we never intended to state that he was employed by the CVSWMD or was anything other than a represenatative from the town..
