News Website Has New Look
The Northfield News website has a crisp new look.
The template for the newspaper on-line was designed specifically for the Drupal content management system. Jeremy Beha, from Our- Hometown.com who manages the website for the News described the template as the first "built from the ground up" and not based on any of OHT's old templates or their existing system.
"We took hints from many large dailies to come up with the layout," Mr. Beha said, citing the larger images and refined display qualities of the new template, which debuted on the sites of the Cox Newspaper Group only two weeks ago.
The Northfield News has taken advantage of the new format and it was put on-line a couple of weeks ago. You are also now able to read the paper online as you see it in the store.
The new format shows photographs and articles in a bright new display that are easy to see and read leading readers directly to each article in the paper and allows readers to publish their own comments about articles.
Also, you can now read the paper as you get it on the newsstand by clicking on print edition where you are able to thumb through the paper just as you do when reading it in its print edition form.
