TO THE EDITOR: THE NORTHFIELD NEWS CONGRATULATIONS to Phil Scott for the best Primary Campaign for Lieutenant Governor I’ve ever witnessed. He and his signs were everywhere in Vermont! He registered many new voters and attended a considerable number of events such as county fairs.

Most important of all he reached across party lines receiving significant help from longtime democratic Senator Dick Mazza.
