NORTHFIELD FALLS — A Mass of Christian burial for Simone Doyon, 92, was celebrated Friday, Aug. 20, 2010, at St John The Evangelist Church in Northfield. The Reverend Kevin Rooney, pastor was the celebrant. Organist William Spear provided accompaniment for soloist, Mary Wheeler. Pall bearers were all grandchildren, Rowdy Doyon, Michael Preedom, Steve Doyon, Jeremy Doyon, Jamie Doyon, John Doyon and Caleb Eurich. Scripture readings were offered by grandson, Steve Doyon. Offertory gifts were brought to the altar by three granddaughters, Sue Camber, Kathy Boutin and Sierra Boutin. The eulogy was given by granddaughter, Nancy Robinson. Burial followed the Mass in the Calvary Cemetery in Northfield.
