Pump & Pantry Is Again Burglarized At Night

The Pump and Pantry was burglarized last week while closed at night. The Pump and Pantry was burglarized last week while closed at night. Cigarettes and chewing tobacco were stolen from the Pump & Pantry Williamstown convenience store during a burglary Saturday night, according to police.

The Vermont State Police were alerted to the break-in at about 11 p.m. when a witness called and said there appeared to be an active burglary at the Pump and Pantry on Business Center Drive. When police arrived they found a window had been smashed on the east side of the building.

Police met with the owner of the business, Samuel Adams, 36, who said an undisclosed amount of tobacco products had been stolen.

Only a few months ago, burglars broke in by smashing the front door during the night when no one was in the store.
