The following local residents were named to the Fall 2011 Dean’s List at Saint Michael’s College, a liberal arts, residential Catholic college located in Burlington, Vermont, one of the top 10 college towns in America:

Eli Diebold, son of Rose Beatty and John Diebold of Northfield, a First-Year Media Studies and Digital Arts major, who graduated from Northfield Middle High School before coming to Saint Michael’s.

Laura Ostrout, daughter of Cindy and Roland Ostrout of Northfield, a Senior Biology major, who graduated from Northfield Middle High School before coming to Saint Michael’s.

Students who complete a minimum of 12 credits and achieve a grade point average of at least 3.4 at the end of a semester are recognized for their scholarship by inclusion on the Dean’s List.

Meanwhile, Magen Farley of Northfield was named to the Dean’s List at Johnson State College for last Fall’s list.
