Micah James Legacy, 3, One in a Million

Morrisville-Micah James Legacy, a sweet boy loved by many, passed away with his loving family by his side Monday, March 6, 2017.  Micah was born August 18, 2014 in Burlington, the son of Jamie and Jodie Miller Legacy and brother of Noah.

Micah is one in a million. He loved his mom, dad and brother, loved music and loved to smile.  He also loved his dogs, Jerry Lee and Colby.  Micah was a teacher by nature.  He taught so many of us so many lessons in life, especially the lesson of life, strength and everlasting love.  His strength, his smile, and his loving energy was shared to any who were lucky enough to meet him.  He was loved by many.

In addition to his parents and brother, Micah is survived by his grandparents, Dave Miller of Northfield; Maxine Pintavalle and husband, Donny of Vernon, CT; Scott and Tammy Legacy of Roxbury; great-grandmother, Rose Whitney of Roxbury/Randolph & Florida; and great-great grandmother Muriel Wagoner of White River; aunts and uncles, Justin and Becky Miller of Northfield; Jeremy and Stacy Corbin of Somers, CT; Danny and Carrie Corbin of Leominster, MA; and Andrew and Christopher Legacy of Roxbury; his god parents, Jeff and Lisa Whalen of Waterbury and many cousins.

A celebration of Micah’s life will be held Monday, March 13 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Zen Barn in Waterbury Center.  

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Micah’s memory may be made to the Ronald McDonald House of Boston, 229 Kent St., Brookline, MA  02446 or by going to rmhboston.org.
