11:30 p.m. - Juvenile Problem - Officers recived a report of an underage drinker. Officers attempted to locate but could not locate.
12:49 a.m. - Agency Assistance - Officers assisted with VSP in a chase. The chase never actually made it to the area.
1:03 a.m. - Agency Assistance - Officers checked the area for a reported individual wanted by State Police.
1:27 a.m. - Suspicious Person/Circumstance - Officers were called to an intoxicated individual. Officers dealt with the situation and provided a safe ride home.
12:05 p.m. - Agency Assistance - An Officer of the Burlington Police Department contacted the Northfield Police Department requesting an Officer issue a resident of Northfield a citation for a violation occurring within their jurisdiction. The Officer located the resident
and issued the appropriate paperwork
12:43 p.m. - Directed Patrol - An Officer conducted targeted speed and traffic enforcement on Route 12 north in Northfield Falls in response to multiple speeding complaints in the area.
12:50 a.m. - Parking Problem - Northfield Police engaged in Winter
Ban Parking Enforcement. After a dusting to approximate 1" of snow only one parking ticket was issued. Thank you to the citizens that are continually cognizant of the Winter Ban and it's role in keeping the Community safe by way of allowing for proper road maintenance.
12:53 a.m. - Intoxicated Person - Northfield Police received a complaint of an intoxicated subject.
6:09 p.m. - Directed Patrol - An Officer worked a security detail for the Norwich University New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) Tournament hockey game. Norwich handily defeated New England College 4-1. But we expected nothing less. The fans enjoyed the game
with no need for Law Enforcement intervention.
7:51 p.m. - Animal Problem - Northfield Police received an Animal
Problem complaint. Upon investigation the animal did not appear to be in distress and would not be left in conditions long enough to yield distress.
1:14 a.m. - Parking Problem - Northfield Police engaged in Winter
Ban Parking Enforcement. Some parking tickets were issued. Hopefully we are done with snow but as a reminder, cars will be towed if they are violating the ban and it is snowing, as the Town Crew will NOT be able to address the snowy road conditions with people parked in the roadways.
1:44 p.m. - Citizen Assist - An Officer assisted an out of state resident complete registration verification paperwork for his vehicle.
3:16 p.m. - Agency Assistance - An Officer assisted ambulance with a medical call.
9:23 p.m. - Juvenile Problem - Northfield Police received a Juvenile
Problem complaint. Follow up occurred, with no observable law being broken and the subject returned home of their own accord.
9:42 p.m. - Alarm - While on another call, Northfield Police received an Alarm complaint. Upon arrival there were no signs of entry
or attempted entry into the residence.
1:21 a.m. - Parking Problem - Northfield Police braved to cold to
engage in Winter Ban Parking Enforcement. One ticket was issued showing citizens' continued commitment to keeping cars off the streets in case of inclement weather.
12:24 p.m. - Citizen Assist - The Chief attended a civil hearing under subpoena.
4:56 p.m. - Citizen Dispute - An Officer received a voice mail concerning an incident which occurred on Saturday, March 4. The Officer spoke with the complainant and will be meeting with the complainant to take a sworn statement concerning the incident.
11:54 p.m. - Noise Disturbance - Officers recived a noise complaint but could not locate the source.
