Douglas Paul LeFebvre, 56, Newspaper Editor
Douglas Paul LeFebvre, 56, died Friday March 10, 2017, from injuries sustained in an accident in Weeki Wachee, Florida.
Born September 17, 1960 in Montpelier, VT he was the son of Wendell LeFebvre and Rachel Sanders LeFebvre Willett.
Douglas moved to Florida in 2000 where he worked as the editor for the Hernando Gazette, an arborist for USA Tree Service and a favorite local musician playing acoustic sets in local venues. Besides music, Douglas was an outdoor enthusiast spending many hours on the water in his kayak fishing and visiting the manatees. Douglas was beloved by his family and friends and had a special way of making everyone feel important and special.
Survivors include his sister, Jo-Ann Rossi and her husband Fred, of Washington, VT., and his brothers, Michael Lefebvre and his wife Jackie of Brookfield VT, Ralph LeFebvre and his wife Orlene of Randolph VT, Mark LeFebvre and his wife Rose of Randolph VT, Jeffrey LeFebvre and his wife Diana of Kaneohe HI and Brian LeFebvre and his wife Rhonda of Brooksville FL; and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his loving companion Sandi Metcalf. He was predeceased by his parents, and his Son Joshua Paul LeFebvre.
Services will be held at 11am, July 29th, at St. John’s Evangelist church. Father Dobie will officiate.

The Kingston’s Funeral Home, 35 Slate Ave in Northfield is in charge of the arrangements.
